Situated in the mid-south of Guandong province, Dongguan is located in the most developed zone in China, within the heart of Guangzhou-Shenzhen economic corridor. It links a variety of business, manufacturing and cultural industries:

• 38 miles south from Guangzhou, the biggest industrial city of Guandong.
• 62 miles northwest from Shenzhen, the new-born technological city.
• 88 miles from Hong Kong.
• 50 miles from Macau.

In the course of the past 5 years, Dongguan has ranked first in China in terms of GDP growth, with an average of 18% annual growth rates. During the year 2007, Guangdong has surpassed Hong Kong, Singapore & Taiwan in terms of GDP.

• IT, Hi-Tech & Moulding centers – One out of five computers in the world is manufactured in Dongguan. Prominent factors contributing to the growth of the industry include supportive government measures that promote foreign investments, combined with a large number of trained personnel that come to work in the region. Major players such as Samsung, IBM, Sony, Compaq, HP and Nokia have established major production lines in Dongguan.
